ECRI-AIMS on-line Trial |
Welcome to the link page for the ECRI-AIMS on-line trial. The system that you can access from this page is a full working version with some minor access restrictions. Please feel free to use the system fully but please consider others when making changes.
To gain access simply click on the link below. You will be prompted for a User Name and Password, these can be obtained from ECRI Europe by filling out and submitting the Registration Form. User Names and Passwords will not usually be issued until a demo of the system has been provided by ECRI.
Whilst you are using the system you may find that response times are a little slower than you would expect, please bare in mind that this is running across the web and under normal circumstances it would be running across your local network which would be significantly faster and therefore greatly increase response times.
If you have any queries regarding ECRI-AIMS please feel free to contact ECRI Europe by email, aims@ecri.org.uk, or phone +44 (0)1707 831 003.

Note for users of Internet Explorer 8
ECRI-AIMS is compatible with all versions of Internet
Explorer, including IE8. However to use ECRI-AIMS with IE8 it is necessary to
change a setting in IE8. Click here to download the
ECRI-AIMS Application Note
for using IE8.
Note for users of Windows XP SP2
Clients using Windows XP SP2 connecting to ECRI-AIMS over the INTERNET, may experience a problem where IE automatically closes when clicking on the
ECRI-AIMS demo link above.
IE version 6.0.2800.1106 will work correctly and IE version 6.0.2900.2180 will have the popup blocker add-on included and will thus automatically close.
To resolve this problem you can:
1) Enter the IP address (81.187.95.18) as a trusted IP, in the popup blocker settings
2) Enter the IP address (81.187.95.18) as a trusted site, which is set in Tools>Internet Options>Security.
This problem only occurs when accessing ECRI-AIMS over the INTERNET. When
ECRI-AIMS is accessed over the INTRANET then this problem will not occur, because local intranet sites are automatically trusted and bypass the popup blocker
